WHEN YOU STILL DON’T FEEL LIKE YOURSELF

Your tests may look “normal.”
But you still don’t feel well.

CIRS and mold-related illness can be difficult to recognize because symptoms may affect different parts of the body. Some people come to us after months or even years of trying to understand what is going on.

These symptoms can have many causes and do not mean you have CIRS. A personal evaluation can help determine what may be contributing to how you feel.

Fatigue & unrefreshing sleep

Brain fog & memory difficulties

Muscle pain, joint pain & stiffness

Digestive concerns

Light sensitivity & visual changes

UNDERSTANDING THE CONNECTION

What are CIRS and mold-related illness?

CIRS stands for Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome.

It describes ongoing inflammation that may be linked to certain environmental exposures, including those found in water-damaged buildings.

You don’t need to know whether you have CIRS before contacting us. If you’re concerned about mold exposure or have persistent symptoms without clear answers, our team can help you understand whether further evaluation may make sense.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

A little clarity
before you begin.

Our team can help you understand the next step.

Call (385) 243-1615
What happens after I request an appointment?

Our team will contact you to learn what you’re looking for and answer your first questions. If the clinic seems like a good fit, we’ll help you schedule a consultation. Sending a request does not reserve an appointment.

Do you accept insurance? Can I receive a superbill?

Our CIRS and mold illness care is generally not covered by insurance. We can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

Do you offer virtual visits? Do I need to live in Utah?

Yes, virtual visits are available, and you do not need to live in Utah. Your first visit can also be completed virtually, so you don't need to travel to our Woods Cross clinic to get started.

What should I expect at my first consultation?

Your first consultation is about an hour, giving Dr. Rodgers time to understand your health history and what you've been experiencing.

Before your visit, he'll review your health history and previous lab work. During the consultation, he'll listen to your concerns, review your current health issues, and discuss what may be worth investigating further.

When appropriate, this may include additional labs or testing, educational resources, and an initial treatment plan based on your situation.

Do I need to know whether I have CIRS?

No. You can reach out if you’re looking for a CIRS doctor or have questions about mold-related illness. Our first conversation helps us understand what you need and whether the clinic may be a good fit. It does not provide a diagnosis.

How is CIRS evaluated, and what can treatment involve?

Dr. Rodgers considers your health and exposure history and may discuss testing. His approach to CIRS treatment draws on the Shoemaker Protocol. He’ll talk with you about which tests, care, and next steps may make sense for your situation.
